Franklin Euro Short Duration Bond Fund

Franklin Templeton Investment Funds

Summary of Fund Objective

Fund’s principal investment objective is to maintain a degree of capital preservation and liquidity, whilst maximizing total returns and income.

The Fund actively allocates across a variety of European short-duration sectors with the aim of providing capital preservation and enhanced return potential as compared to cash investments.

Adjustable target duration of three years or less mitigates the risks associated with the likely event of rising interest rates, while the Fund’s focus on Eurozone issues substantially diminishes currency risk for euro-based investors.

The Fund’s investment team employs a rigorous, bottom-up security selection process that is informed by top-down macroeconomic analysis. This time-tested approach provides managers with the conviction to take contrarian positions when opportunities arise.
